Job description
We are seeking a senior-level IT Systems Administrator to lead the administration, security, and continuous improvement of our company’s technology environment. This candidate must be an expert in Microsoft 365, Apple Business, Network Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and AI & Systems Integration.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building reliable infrastructure, integrating business systems, improving cybersecurity, implementing automation, and leveraging artificial intelligence to solve business challenges.
You will work directly with executive leadership and serve as the company’s primary technology resource while helping guide future technology initiatives.
This is an in-person position based in Big Spring, Texas. This is NOT a remote position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Manage Apple computers, iPhones, Apple Business Manager, and mobile device management solutions.
- Design, maintain, and troubleshoot company network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, wireless networks, VPNs, and internet connectivity.
- Manage Windows and Linux servers, cloud infrastructure, backups, disaster recovery, and system monitoring.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, identity management, and multi-factor authentication.
- Evaluate, implement, and integrate new business software platforms.
- Develop software integrations using APIs, automation platforms, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Build internal automation and business solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain hardware, software licensing, technology vendors, and IT inventory.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, standards, and procedures.
- Provide technical support for approximately 70 employees.
- Assist executive leadership with technology planning, budgeting, and long-term infrastructure strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible IT systems administration or infrastructure experience.
- Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience supporting Apple business environments.
- Strong networking and infrastructure experience.
- Experience implementing cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience integrating business software and automating workflows.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Technical Experience
Experience with many of the following technologies is preferred:
- Microsoft 365

- Jamf, Mosyle, or similar MDM platform
- Windows Server
- Linux
- Azure
- SQL
- Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript
- Docker
- APIs and software integrations
- AI-assisted software development
- Network administration
- Firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, and wireless networking
