The Staff Scrum Master provides advanced Agile facilitation and coaching across one or more teams, enabling effective delivery through iterative practices and continuous improvement. The position applies deep expertise in Agile methods to navigate complex delivery environments, remove systemic impediments, and strengthen alignment between teams and organizational objectives.

What You’ll Do:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (e.g., planning, daily coordination, reviews, retrospectives) across complex or multiple teams, adapting approaches as needed.
- Guide teams in applying Agile principles to improve delivery outcomes, collaboration, and adaptability.
- Identify, track, and resolve impediments that impact delivery, including cross-team or organizational dependencies.
- Partner with product owners and stakeholders to ensure backlog readiness, prioritization clarity, and alignment with business goals.
- Monitor delivery metrics (e.g., flow, predictability, cycle time) and use insights to improve team performance and outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and follow-through on actionable changes.
- Support alignment and coordination across teams working on related initiatives or shared goals.
- Influence adoption of Agile best practices, tools, and frameworks across the organization.
- Provide guidance and informal coaching to other Scrum Masters or team members.
- Communicate risks, issues, and progress to stakeholders, ensuring visibility and informed decision-making.

Requirements
- Minimum 6 years’ experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator in complex environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and delivery practices.
- Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to operate independently and manage ambiguity across multiple workstreams.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and teams without direct authority.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret delivery data and recommend improvements.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Required Education: Bachelors degree in field relevant to role (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
- Certifications: Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe) preferred.
