Senior Storage / SAN Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Storage / SAN Engineer to support enterprise storage infrastructure initiatives. Although the title may reference “Architect,” this is an individual contributor engineering role requiring someone who can independently manage enterprise storage environments, provide technical guidance, and execute modernization initiatives with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Pure Storage FlashArray, Fibre Channel SAN, enterprise storage architecture, capacity planning, migration strategies, and storage performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, and optimize enterprise storage infrastructure.

• Manage Pure Storage FlashArray environments.

• Design and maintain Fibre Channel SAN architecture.

• Perform SAN zoning, multipathing, and storage connectivity troubleshooting.

• Plan and execute storage modernization and migration projects.

• Monitor storage utilization, performance, and capacity.

• Develop storage lifecycle and expansion strategies.

• Design highly available and resilient storage solutions.

• Create implementation plans, operational procedures, and recovery runbooks.

• Participate in infrastructure governance and change management.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, virtualization, backup, and database teams.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.

• Support operational readiness and managed services transition activities.

• 10+ years of enterprise Storage/SAN engineering experience.
