Job description
DK Law is seeking a knowledgeable and service-oriented Help Desk Technician to provide hands-on technical support to employees across our organization. This individual will serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day technology issues, helping users troubleshoot hardware, software, account access, connectivity, Microsoft Power Platform solutions, and other workplace technology needs.
The ideal candidate is patient, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. You should enjoy solving problems, communicating with users at all levels of technical ability, and taking ownership of support requests through resolution.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Costa Mesa headquarters.

What You Will Do
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee technical support requests.
- Monitor and manage assigned help desk tickets, providing timely updates and resolutions in accordance with established service expectations.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, account access, network connectivity, and peripheral issues.
- Set up, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices, and other end-user equipment.
- Support Windows and macOS devices in a professional office environment.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including account creation, equipment preparation, access changes, and device collection.
- Support identity and access management tasks, including user provisioning, password resets, multifactor authentication, and single sign-on.
- Administer and support Microsoft-based platforms and applications, including Microsoft 365, Exchange, Entra, and Defender.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including payload and schema issues, reference errors, and connector authentication failures.
- Monitor Power Platform flow run history to identify failures, diagnose issues, and support resolution.
- Use working knowledge of JSON and REST APIs to assist with troubleshooting integrations and data-related issues.
- Assist users with Microsoft Office applications, email, shared drives, printers, scanners, and other workplace technology.
- Support VoIP and contact-center platforms such as RingCentral, Genesys, Five9, or similar systems.
- Assist with office technology needs, including conference-room equipment, audiovisual systems, workstation moves, and hardware deployments.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate infrastructure, security, networking, or application teams.
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, equipment assignments, and recurring technical issues.
- Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records.
- Help identify recurring problems and recommend improvements to support processes and user resources.
- Provide clear, patient, and professional technical guidance to employees.
- Assist with technology-related projects, system upgrades, and office deployments as needed.
- Role may include other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience providing help desk, desktop support, or end-user technical support in a professional environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange, Entra, and related Microsoft platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including diagnosing payload and schema issues, reference errors, and connector authentication failures by monitoring flow run history.
- Working knowledge of JSON and REST APIs.
- Experience supporting Windows systems; experience supporting macOS is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with identity and access management, including password resets, MFA, SSO, and user provisioning.
- Experience troubleshooting laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, mobile devices, and common office technology.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking concepts, including Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and IP connectivity.
- Experience working with ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow, Freshservice, Zendesk, or a comparable system.
- Experience with VoIP or contact-center platforms such as RingCentral, Genesys, Five9, or similar tools is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to investigate issues methodically.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in US English.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple support requests in a fast-changing environment.
- Dependable, responsive, and able to take ownership of issues through resolution.
- Ability to handle confidential company and employee information appropriately.
