Job description

We are a fast-growing SaaS company that builds a mission-critical, cloud-based platform used by thousands of organizations to manage daily operations, customer engagement, payments, and reporting. Our product supports high transaction volume, complex workflows, and a large, active user base. The company is privately held, profitable, and continues to invest heavily in its technology and product roadmap. Engineering plays a central role in driving innovation, scalability, and long-term growth.

Why join us?

  • Stable, growing product with an established customer base and long-term roadmap
  • Meaningful engineering work on a platform used daily by a large, diverse user community
  • Collaborative, low-ego team that values clean code, ownership, and thoughtful problem-solving
  • Balanced environment focused on sustainable development practices, not constant fire drills
  • Opportunity to work across legacy and modern systems, contributing to ongoing platform evolution, We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong .NET (C#) background and prior experience developing applications in PHP/Laravel. This role is ideal for someone who has transitioned from PHP into the Microsoft stack or someone who is equally comfortable working across both technologies.

You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for a mature SaaS platform while helping support an evolving technology stack.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a SaaS environment.
  • Build new features primarily using .NET (C#) while also supporting existing PHP/Laravel applications.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and business logic.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver new functionality.
  • Review project requirements and translate technical specifications into production-quality code.
  • Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and help drive engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience
  • Strong experience with .NET (C#).
  • Previous hands-on experience developing applications with PHP/Laravel.
  • Experience with React (preferred) or Angular.
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
  • Ability to balance technical debt with business priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently in a collaborative Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within SaaS platforms.
  • Experience modernizing or migrating legacy applications.
  • Cloud experience (Azure preferred).
  • Passion for mentoring teammates and improving engineering processes.
