Job description

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Enterprise Architect/Senior Technical Architect - Salesforce & MuleSoft for a remote role., We are seeking a senior-level Enterprise Architect/Technical Architect to support a large-scale public-sector technology modernization initiative. This role will provide architectural leadership across Salesforce, MuleSoft, cloud infrastructure, enterprise integrations, security, data, and production operations.

Engagement: This is a remote contract role requiring availability during Pacific Time business hours. Candidates must clearly document qualifying projects, dates, responsibilities, duration, and professional references.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead enterprise Salesforce and MuleSoft architecture design and implementation
  • Design scalable Salesforce data models supporting more than five million records
  • Establish standards for security, access, governance, performance, and data quality
  • Design MuleSoft integrations using API-led connectivity, orchestration, transformation, routing, and reusable services
  • Integrate Salesforce with legacy platforms, databases, cloud applications, and external systems
  • Review technical designs, identify risks, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards
  • Support production operations, platform monitoring, incident resolution, deployments, and performance optimization
  • Create architecture diagrams, technical standards, roadmaps, and implementation documentation
  • Partner with developers, analysts, technical leads, business stakeholders, and executive leadership

Requirements

  • 4+ years in an Architect or Technical Lead role covering Salesforce data models, security, performance, APIs, integration, and governance
  • 4+ years of administering cloud environments and Salesforce applications
  • 3+ years of designing Salesforce architecture involving 5M+ records
  • 3+ years of designing MuleSoft integration architectures
  • 2+ years supporting a large-scale Salesforce and MuleSoft production environment with 5,000+ users, multiple business areas, and multiple locations
  • 2+ years with Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, MuleSoft Runtime Manager, or similar monitoring tools

Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce or MuleSoft certifications; Public-sector experience; legacy or mainframe integration; AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; REST, SOAP, OAuth, OpenID Connect, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automated deployment experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
