Job description
- Accurately input, update, and maintain employee data within HRIS databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and managing large datasets with proficiency in spreadsheet functions.
- Manage data collection from various sources, verifying accuracy and completeness before entry into database systems.
- Perform routine data entry tasks using high-speed typing skills, including 10 key typing and transcription activities.
- Organize and file HR documents electronically and physically to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping standards.
- Support HR team with administrative tasks such as word processing, filing, and handling confidential information with discretion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve database systems and streamline data entry workflows for increased productivity.
Requirements
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient HRIS Data Specialist to manage human resources data entry and database management. This role is vital in supporting HR operations through precise data collection, entry, and maintenance within our Human Resources Information System (HRIS)., Associates degree with major coursework in information systems, computer science, data mining, or related field, required. An additional four years of relevant and applicable experience may replace degree requirement.
Minimum two years of direct experience with high volume of data processing / entry, analyzing data, and reporting, required.
Minimum two years’ experience in a human resources function, preferred.
Experience with Infor/Lawson or Kronos HRIS systems strongly preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced skills in Excel to create macros, functions, formulas, pivot tables, and perform lookups.
Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices
Proven time management and prioritization skills to make efficient, logical decisions in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities
