Job description

  • Perform ETL testing
  • Validate source-to-target data mappings and transformation logic
  • Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks
  • Execute API, functional, and regression testing
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies
  • Analyze test results and coordinate defect triage activities
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders in Agile teams
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across enterprise systems

Requirements

We are seeking an ETL Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in Data Warehouse Testing, ETL Testing, Cloud Testing, and Python Automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience validating large-scale data platforms, testing ETL pipelines, and automating test processes in cloud and big data environments., * 5+ years of QA and Testing experience

  • Strong experience in Data Warehouse and ETL Testing
  • Strong Python Automation skills
  • Experience with API Test Automation
  • Strong SQL skills for complex data validation and reconciliation
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Experience creating Test Plans, Test Strategies

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Generative AI (Gen AI)
  • Familiarity with data observability or data testing tools (e.g., Great Expectations, dbt tests)
  • Experience with Pytest
  • Domain experience in healthcare, including managing data regulations
  • Working knowledge of cloud ecosystems and message/streaming platforms (Kafka)
  • Exposure to Playwright automation
  • Exposure to Gherkin syntax, BDD frameworks and Cucumber

Benefits & conditions

This is a contract-to-hire role with an estimated conversion to permanent employment at 6 months. Pay Rate: $62.50/hour-$65/hour w2, depending on experience 40 Hours/week M-F 8:30am-5pm EST Reporting Mode: 100% Remote from anywhere in the United States
