Job description

We are seeking an IT Service Delivery Technician I to provide first-level technical support for internal users while ensuring reliable delivery of IT services across the organization. This role includes desktop support, hardware deployment, software installation, troubleshooting, user account administration, and participation in IT infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and experience supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Cisco VoIP, and enterprise IT systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support

  • Provide first-level IT support through the Help Desk ticketing system (ServiceNow).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, network, and peripheral issues.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps accurately.

Hardware & Software Deployment

  • Configure, deploy, and support desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, multifunction devices, VoIP phones, and mobile devices.
  • Deploy endpoint devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software.

User Administration

  • Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access through Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Support password resets and user access requests while maintaining security compliance.

Infrastructure Support

  • Maintain connectivity for workstations, servers, printers, phones, and mobile devices.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring issues.
  • Assist with desktop, server, and infrastructure deployments.

Asset & Project Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.
  • Ensure maintenance and support agreements are properly documented.
  • Participate in IT infrastructure projects and technology upgrades.
  • Support application teams during project implementations.

Customer Service

  • Deliver exceptional technical support to employees and site visitors.
  • Collaborate with business users and cross-functional IT teams.
  • Share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Additional Duties

  • Support enterprise security standards and resolve basic security issues.
  • Assist with documentation, reporting, and special IT projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of IT support or service desk experience, * Hands-on experience with technical support, hardware/software deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Cisco VoIP, and endpoint support
  • Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and documentation skills, * Associate’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or
  • 2-3 years of equivalent IT support experience.
  • 1-3 years of desktop support or IT service delivery experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Cisco VoIP systems.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
  • Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment., * ITIL knowledge or certification.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or related technical certifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
  • Previous experience participating in IT infrastructure projects.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the workday.
  • Occasionally lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.
