Software Engineer

Performs implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance and support for agile software development to modernize systems. Applies advanced advisory skills or extensive technical expertise with full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

• 5+ years of experience engineering software for military or automotive solutions
• Experience in a SW development role with a minimum requirement of coding in C coding language
• Experience as a software delivery or product owner
• Experience with the full V-cycle of software design
• Experience with decomposing requirements into SSPS
• Ability to review and produce software documentation such as software development plans and software architecture development documents
• Knowledge of how SW requirements lead to HW requirements
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science or Software engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
