Job description

  • Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including backup/recovery, monitoring and performance tuning.
  • Design database structures and data synchronization mechanisms.
  • Develop Python backend applications and REST APIs integrated with PostgreSQL.
  • Set up and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support database solutions within microservices environments.
  • Contribute to monitoring and logging using the Elastic Stack.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator with strong expertise in PostgreSQL to manage, secure and optimize critical database environments., * Expert-level PostgreSQL database administration

  • Python backend development and REST APIs
  • Linux server administration
  • GitLab CI/CD
  • Elastic Stack
  • Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift and Ansible are advantageous
  • Knowledge of NoSQL, Key-Value, Document and Vector databases is a plus
  • Strong communication, documentation and problem-solving skills
  • Dutch, English and French knowledge
