Job description

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer to support the controlled migration of a critical ADABAS/Natural environment on BS2000 to a Linux platform, while maintaining reliable parallel operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop technical modules for data extraction, transformation and replication.
  • Analyse existing Natural/ADABAS programs, jobs, data objects and data flows.
  • Establish data synchronisation between BS2000 and Linux environments.
  • Develop and execute technical testing and data reconciliation.
  • Validate data completeness, mappings, transformations and identify missing or duplicate records.
  • Document technical solutions, mappings, test results and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Natural for BS2000 8.2.7+.
  • Strong knowledge of ADABAS for Mainframe BS2000 8.2.
  • Experience with BS2000, SDF, JCL, EDT and LMS.
  • Knowledge of data replication, data transformation and reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical and testing mindset.
  • Ability to work with legacy systems and limited documentation.
  • Active knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
  • On-site: Minimum 2 days/week in Brussels, depending on tasks and team requirements.
