Job description
You’ll be responsible for designing, building and operating production cloud infrastructure, owning the platform that enables engineering teams to deliver at scale. Working across distributed Kubernetes environments, you’ll drive automation, observability, security and platform reliability. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and operate secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud.
- Own Kubernetes (GKE) platforms and container orchestration.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Implement monitoring, logging and observability across the platform.
- Drive platform security, networking and resilience.
- Support deployments into secure, high-assurance environments.

Requirements
- Strong commercial experience building and operating production GCP environments.
- Deep Kubernetes and GKE expertise.
- Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Experience owning CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation.
- Excellent Linux administration skills.
- Security-conscious approach with experience delivering resilient cloud platforms.
- Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments.
Desirable
- Defence, Government or other high-assurance environments.
- Air-gapped or restricted network deployments.
- Multi-cluster Kubernetes architectures.
- Cilium, eBPF or advanced Kubernetes networking.
- Python, Bash or Go.
- CKA or CKAD certification.
Clearance
- Active SC Clearance preferred.
- Candidates eligible and willing to undergo SC Clearance will also be considered.
