Job description

Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Java and modern frameworks (e.g., Apache Camel, Spring Boot).

  • Build scalable, resilient message flows and routing logic for distributed systems.
  • Integrate internal and external systems via messaging (IBM MQ) and APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Contribute to microservices-based architectures and ensure adherence to secure coding standards and SDLC processes.
  • Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests (JUnit, Cucumber) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-office, back-office, technology) to define and deliver integration solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for integration platforms and provide 3rd line support to production teams.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow established release management and deployment processes and support audit/compliance activities.
  • Champion engineering best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate.

  • Experience with integration frameworks (Apache Camel) and IBM MQ.
  • Solid background in building microservices, RESTful APIs, and data transformation (XML, JSON, XSLT).
  • Familiarity with SQL databases, ORM frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux environments.
  • Understanding of API protocols and experience in financial/trading environments.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently in fast-paced environments.
