Job description
Are you a mechanically biased Condition Monitoring Engineer, Reliability Engineer or Vibration Analyst with hands-on experience of rotating equipment, vibration analysis and root-cause investigation?
RecruitME is recruiting for a Condition Monitoring Engineer to improve the reliability, availability and performance of anaerobic digestion plants and gas-upgrading equipment across the UK.
This is not a desk-based reliability role.
You will work directly with maintenance engineers, plant operators and engine technicians, using condition-monitoring and predictive-maintenance techniques to identify developing faults, prevent repeat failures and reduce unplanned downtime.
The role is home-based and requires regular UK travel, so candidates should ideally live within the East Midlands or eastern England., The Condition Monitoring Engineer role
You will be responsible for improving asset health and reducing unplanned downtime across a portfolio of operational plants.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out vibration analysis on rotating equipment
- Completing thermography, oil analysis and LDAR inspections
- Building and developing predictive-maintenance routes
- Collecting and analysing condition-monitoring data
- Identifying developing mechanical faults
- Producing clear technical reports and maintenance recommendations
- Leading Root Cause Analysis investigations into repeat failures
- Completing FMEA assessments on critical equipment and systems
- Troubleshooting mechanical faults
- Supporting maintenance teams during plant breakdowns
- Recommending equipment upgrades and reliability improvements
- Raising maintenance actions within the CMMS
