Backend Kotlin Microservices

Job description

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer for a 12-month contract with the Video Platform team in Central London. You will join a dedicated team delivering automated traffic routing, end-to-end observability, client configuration releases, and AI tool hosting platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing

Developing resilient backend microservices using AWS-native services.
Building out integration points for AI tools via Model Context Protocol (MCP) frameworks.
Improving system performance, automated failovers, and low-latency client routing.
Collaborating within an established engineering team to maintain operational standards.
