Job description

Our Data & Analytics team plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making and ensuring operational excellence throughout our network.We are looking for aSenior Data Analystto transformlaboratory and operational datainto actionable insights that enhance performance across Unilabs’ pathology operations. In this role, you will develop reporting solutions, deliver advanced analyses, and support data-driven decision-making across multiple countries.What You’ll DoDevelop, implement, and maintain high-qualityPower BIdashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decisions.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements and translate them into effective analytical solutions.Partner with data engineers and IT teams to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and integration from laboratory and operational systems.Conduct complex data analyses usingSQLandExcelto identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across all reporting platforms.Drive automation and standardisation of performance reporting processes across countries and functions.Contribute to continuous improvement in data quality and reporting efficiency.Support laboratory and operational leaders with KPI monitoring and analysis.Prepare and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across Europe.Provide coverage for the Head of Data & Analytics when required.Key Impact AreasEnable faster and more informed decision-making through reliable data insights.Support improved laboratory performance and operational efficiency.Strengthen data governance and unify reporting standards across the European network.What Success Looks LikeOn-time, accurate delivery of Power BI dashboards and reports.Improved stakeholder satisfaction with data accessibility and insights.Reduction of manual reporting through automation initiatives.High levels of data accuracy and consistency across platforms.Data-driven operational improvements resulting from your analyses.Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field.Minimum5 years of experienceas a Data Analyst or similar role.Proven track record with Power BI and SQL in analytical and reporting contexts.Experience with operational or laboratory data in healthcare or life sciences is an advantage.Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.Experience working in international and multifunctional environments is desirable.Technical SkillsAdvanced proficiency inPower BI(data modelling, DAX, report development, publishing).StrongSQLskills for data extraction and manipulation.ExcellentExcelcapabilities for analysis and reporting.Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualisation best practices.Behavioural & Cognitive SkillsStrong analytical, statistical, and critical thinking abilities.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams (IT, Data Engineering, Operations).Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-driven approach.Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role. Proven track record with Power BI and SQL in analytical and reporting contexts. Experience with operational or laboratory data in healthcare or life sciences is an advantage. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail. Experience working in international and multifunctional environments is desirable.
