Experteer Overview In this Java Tech Lead role, you will guide the technical direction of backend services for a digital banking experience, combining hands-on engineering with architectural ownership.You’ll shape standards, mentor the team, and drive core banking integrations, payments, and fraud/security workflows within the Backbase Journeys Architecture.You’ll be the primary technical contact for the backend team and client-facing discussions, balancing delivery with architecture ownership.This role focuses on building secure, high-volume systems that scale with the business.Compensaciones / Beneficios* Lead technical design and architecture decisions for backend services* Set coding standards and best practices across the Java backend team* Lead architectural discussions and reviews* Identify technical debt and plan remediation* Mentor engineers and support onboarding/evaluation* Serve as primary technical contact for client conversations, communicating difficult news when needed* Design, build, and maintain backend services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot* Lead core banking integrations (Jack Henry Symitar) and ACH/payments processing* Architect and oversee fraud and security services* Design systems for high-volume, low-latency processing* Build and document REST APIs (OpenAPI) for frontend/mobile use* Drive test coverage (JUnit)* Oversee select .NET services (Core/Framework 4.8) troubleshooting production issuesResponsabilidades* Deep Java backend experience (Java 17+)* Spring Boot expertise* Experience with core banking integrations (Jack Henry Symitar)* Payments and ACH processing knowledge* Fraud and security service integration* REST/OpenAPI API design and documentation* Ability to lead, mentor, and communicate with clients* Mixed Java/.NET environment experience* Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity* Strong problem-solving for high-volume, low-latency systemsRequisitos principales*
