Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team in Northeast Ohio. This position will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise network environments across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring network stability, security, and performance while supporting infrastructure projects and day-to-day network operations.

This individual will work closely with infrastructure, systems, and security teams to troubleshoot complex networking issues, support network upgrades, and maintain secure, highly available environments. Strong experience with Cisco technologies, routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networking is required. VMware experience is also required and must be clearly listed on the resume.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issues
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless environments
• Support LAN/WAN and SD-WAN environments
• Monitor network performance, uptime, and security
• Support VMware virtualized infrastructure environments
• Collaborate with infrastructure, systems, and security teams on projects and upgrades
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configurations
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior IT staff

Do you have experience in Wireless communication system operation?, * 5+ years of Network Engineering experience

• Strong Cisco networking experience
• Experience with routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and OSPF
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise network environments
• VMware experience is required
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Must currently live in Northeast Ohio, * CCNA, CCNP, or VMware certifications
• Experience with Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud networking
• Experience working in multi-site enterprise environments
