Job description
Insight Global is looking to hire a TS/SCI cleared Cybersecurity Analyst sitting three days onsite at the Pentagon. This individual will play a key role in supporting the modernization and security of DoW’s cryptographic capabilities by identifying cyber risks, assessing vulnerabilities, and maintaining visibility into cryptographic assets across the enterprise.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Identifying and assessing cyber risks, vulnerabilities, and security gaps across cryptographic systems, key management practices, and enterprise cryptographic assets.
- Maintaining and analyzing inventories of cryptographic devices and assets to support modernization planning, asset visibility, and risk-informed decision-making.
- Supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, standards, doctrine, and security controls related to cryptographic technologies.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across technical and program teams to support cryptographic modernization initiatives and evaluate security requirements.
- Developing recommendations, reports, and performance metrics to track modernization efforts and improve the organization’s overall cryptographic security posture.
Requirements
- Years of Experience and Education/Certification Requirements (MUST meet one of the following):
- 5+ years of IT experience and a bachelor’s degree in a cybersecurity-related field
- 5+ years of IT experience, a bachelor’s degree in a non-cybersecurity-related field, and an active CISSP certification
- 9+ years of IT experience and an active CISSP certification in lieu of a degree
- Experience designing, implementing, or recommending cybersecurity controls for complex systems
- Knowledge of cryptography, cryptographic systems, and key management concepts
- Ability to analyze cyber risks, vulnerabilities, and security gaps and provide actionable recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively brief and engage DoD leadership
- Experience developing briefings, executive-level presentations, and talking points
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with COMSEC, KMI/KME, crypto inventory analysis, and PQC concepts
Benefits & conditions
$45.00hr to $60.00/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
