Golang Engineer

We are seeking a GoLang Engineer to support the modernization and evolution of a large-scale customer engagement and rewards platform. This engineer will work within a cloud-native, microservices-based environment, building and enhancing applications primarily developed in Go. You will have the opportunity to identify innovative solutions, develop proof of concepts, and deliver scalable technology that addresses both current and future business needs. As part of a high-performing engineering team, you will contribute to the development of a modern, resilient platform designed to support personalized customer experiences across multiple digital channels. • 5+ years of experience developing applications using GoLang in a microservices architecture.
• Strong experience in application design, software development, and testing within Agile environments.
• Experience working with Git-based version control systems on collaborative development teams.
• Experience with open-source frameworks and tools; contributing to or maintaining open-source projects is a plus.
• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Couchbase, or Cassandra.
• Proven success designing and developing high-volume, highly available RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with automated testing, build pipelines, and software quality practices.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to solve complex business problems.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with development collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design, and distributed computing concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience designing scalable, cloud-native solutions in public cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
