Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline \n

  • 4+ years of hands-on embedded firmware development in C for resource-constrained MCUs \n

  • Fluency in C and strong competence in Python; ability to work comfortably with both \n

  • Experience with the CANOPEN software stack or similar embedded platform stacks \n

  • Solid understanding of real-time embedded concepts: ISRs, peripherals, DMA, timers, RTOS tasks/queues, power states \n

  • Proficiency with common embedded interfaces and tooling:\n \n

  • CAN, SPI, I2C, UART; oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, in-circuit debuggers \n

  • Build systems, cross-compilers, and linkers; version control with Git \n \n

  • Experience working with Wireless communications \n

  • Demonstrated experience writing high-quality engineering documentation \n

  • Strong debugging skills, root-cause analysis, and methodical problem solving \n

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly \n

  • Support the product roadmap for LTE CAT 1, LTE-M, Cat-1 Bis, CAT 4, NB-IoT \n

  • Support the product roadmap for BLE, RFCOMM, WiFi \n

  • Support the roadmap for location technologies like GNSS, WiFiSCAN \n \n

  • Simulation and tools\n \n

  • Build and maintain simulators, emulators, and test harnesses in C#, Python, and C to accelerate development \n

  • Create protocol simulators and hardware abstraction layers for off-target testing \n \n

  • Documentation and process\n \n

  • Produce clear programming documentation, API references, and design specs \n

  • Contribute to configuration management, release notes, and firmware change control \n

  • Collaborate with systems engineering on requirements, traceability, and verification evidence \n \n
