Job description

  • Characterize and validate PHY-layer performance including EVM, sensitivity, throughput, beamforming, and interference robustness.
  • Develop and optimize radio calibration algorithms for Tx power, IQ imbalance, frequency offset, antenna arrays, and beamforming.
  • Design and improve PHY and system-level algorithms for channel estimation, synchronization, MIMO, beamforming, link adaptation, power control, interference mitigation, and network optimization.
  • Analyze lab and field data to identify performance bottlenecks and drive system improvements.
  • Develop test automation and data analysis tools.
  • Collaborate with RF, software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to support product development and deployment.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in wireless PHY development, characterization, or signal processing.
  • Strong knowledge of OFDM, MIMO, beamforming, channel estimation, and wireless communications.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi technologies (802.11ac/ax/be) and RF test equipment.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
