Job description

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to lead enterprise cloud strategy, architecture governance, and cloud transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, cloud-native architectures, DevOps, CI/CD automation, and enterprise-scale cloud migrations. This role will partner with technology leaders, development teams, and business stakeholders to design scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud solutions. The candidate will also mentor engineering teams and drive adoption of modern technologies including microservices, containers, and automation frameworks., Define and execute enterprise cloud strategy, architecture standards, and governance frameworks. Design scalable, highly available, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions across public and private cloud environments. Lead cloud transformation initiatives including application modernization, cloud migration, and data centre consolidation. Partner with development teams to migrate and refactor on-premises applications into cloud-native architectures. Define and implement cloud standards, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks. Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) and production implementation of emerging cloud technologies and platforms. Develop automated deployment pipelines and integrate container-based solutions supporting multi-cloud strategies. Establish cloud best practices covering availability, performance, resiliency, disaster recovery, networking, security, and infrastructure optimization. Provide architecture guidance and technical leadership to engineering teams, architects, and senior stakeholders. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives. Create architecture documentation including system diagrams, data flows, sequence diagrams, and UML artifacts. Communicate architecture decisions, risks, project status, and technology roadmaps to senior leadership. Mentor and coach developers and architects on cloud technologies and engineering best practices.

Requirements

5-7 years of experience in systems design, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture. 4+ years of hands-on cloud experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). Strong experience designing and implementing cloud-native applications and enterprise cloud architectures. Hands-on experience with Azure services, including: Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Azure Event Hub Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) Azure Blob Storage Azure DNS Azure Virtual Networks (VNet) Azure Redis Cache Azure App Service Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture. Strong knowledge of DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with cloud migration, application modernization, and infrastructure transformation. Strong understanding of: Software design and development Application architecture Systems operations and management Database architecture Virtualization IP networking and storage IT security Linux administration Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and application lifecycle management. Ability to drive architecture discussions, influence technical decisions, and communicate trade-offs to business and technology leaders. Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with senior stakeholders. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Master’s degree preferred. Experience driving cloud adoption strategies and enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives. Experience taking cloud solutions from Proof of Concept (POC) to production deployment.
