Job description
Develop DSP software and methods within a novel architecture to provide near real-time insights to customers. You will be working closely with a team of signal analysts, DSP experts, and software developers to take the customer vision from whiteboard to operations.
What You’ll be Owning
- Custom-written DSP modules that produce detection, geolocation data, and other customer-specified products.
- Processes for automating DSP techniques to streamline and optimize reporting by generating graphical and text-based outputs.
- Operate Windows and Linux based compute environments that support high throughput RF processing, including GPU nodes when needed.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards for services and data pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure and operational workflows using scripting and configuration management.
- Produce documentation and runbooks to support operations teams and mission users.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree type.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) and signals analysis.
- Strong Linux skills.
- Experienced with using Git and version control.
- Experienced with Python.
- Strong communication skills, including presentation of processes and results to a variety of audiences, and strong written skills relating to documentation of methods, results, and appropriate caveats.
What Would be Nice to Have
- Experience with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes operations.
- Experience with AWS or hybrid cloud deployments.
- Experience with C++.
- Enthusiasm for signal analysis and its insights with a desire to share and mentor junior analysts on techniques and best practices.
