As a Software Engineer Senior (Salesforce)within PNC’s C/IB MIS Accelerator organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh PA or Strongsville OH., We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer Senior (Salesforce) with strong experience on the Salesforce platform to design, develop, and support scalable solutions in an enterprise environment. This role is primarily responsible for Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning), solution design, and collaboration across development, QA, and product teams. The ideal candidate writes clean, well-documented code, is comfortable supporting QA and production efforts, and grows into a trusted subject-matter expert (SME) for Product Owners and business stakeholders., * Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.

  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Writes code, tests and deploys software.
  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
  • Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce development (Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components).

-Experience w/ Salesforce Configure Price Quote (CPQ) is a plus.

-Experience working with Salesforce data models, security architecture, and platform configuration.

-Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs).

-Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.

-Familiarity with Agile development practices and collaboration across product and engineering teams.

-Strong belief in best practices, clean coding standards, and scalable design.

-Ability to write clear, maintainable code with meaningful documentation.

-Comfortable asking questions and requesting help when needed.

-Excellent communication skills; able to work with both technical and business-facing teams.

-Strong collaboration skills with developers, testers, QA, and business -stakeholders.

-Willingness to support applications during QA and Production issue resolution., Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
