At Q-tech , we are partnering with a global leader in electronic design, test and measurement technology, serving industries such as communications, 5G/6G, automotive, energy, quantum computing, aerospace, defense and semiconductors.The company is in an active growth phase, backed by strong R&D investment and a long-term engineering culture.We are looking for aSenior R&D Software Engineer (Modern C++ / Instrument Infrastructure)to join a newly formed team in Barcelona, building reusable infrastructure technology used by product teams worldwide.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain high-performance Modern C++ software for hardware control, data acquisition and instrument platform capabilities.Collaborate with product architects on infrastructure requirements and system architecture for next-generation instrument platforms.Integrate hardware and software components, ensuring reliable, high-performance operation of complex instrument systems.Debug and troubleshoot across the full stack, from register-level interfaces and drivers to application-level software.Collaborate with distributed engineering teams (including a US-based team) across the full development lifecycle.RequirementsStrong experience with Modern C++, object-oriented programming and modern software architecture.Several years developing hardware control or hardware-adjacent software.Experience with PCIe and high-speed Ethernet, and understanding of driver/real-time processing architectures.Development experience in Linux and/or Windows environments.What is offeredStock options.Hybrid model (~2-3 days/week office), permanent contract.#J-*****-Ljbffr
