The ideal person is a strong developer or engineer who has worked with reporting tools, BI platforms, dashboards, or custom reporting solutions, and understands how business reporting works from both a technical and data perspective.The project involves modernising and migrating existing reporting solutions, with the goal of moving towards more advanced, custom-developed reporting tools that can includeAI capabilities, automated insights, periodic data refresh, and flexible filtering by hierarchy or other business data points.This is a mixed profile: someone with solid development experience combined with good knowledge ofBI, Power BI, reporting logic, dashboards, and data visualisation concepts.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and modernise reporting tools and data-driven applicationsSupport the migration and improvement of existing BI/reporting solutionsWork with different data sources, reporting logic, and data modelsBuild or support reporting features such as filters, hierarchy views, dashboards, and periodic data refreshCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting requirementsHelp introduce AI capabilities and automation into reporting processesSupport the transition from traditional reporting into more modern, flexible, AI-enabled solutionsExperience requiredStrong background as a Senior Software Engineer / Senior DeveloperExperience with backend/software development technologiesExperience working with BI, reporting tools, dashboards, or data-driven applicationsKnowledge of Power BI or similar BI platformsGood understanding of reporting logic, data models, filters, and data visualisation conceptsExperience working with different data sources and structured dataInterest or experience in AI, automation, or AI-supported reporting solutionsAbility to work independently in a fully remote contract environmentGood communication skills in EnglishImportantThis role is best suited for aSenior Developer / Software Engineer with BI and reporting tools experience.
