Location: MalagaOther locations: Primary Location OnlyOverviewWe are looking for a technology?savvy specialist to drive our projects on a new track, working with a global team across Azure, GCP, and AWS.Responsibilities- Build data platforms to enable clients and partners to make efficient decisions.- Design robust solutions on state?of?the?art data engines such as Databricks.- Participate in cross?functional initiatives and collaborate with engineers, product/project managers, and partners worldwide.Qualifications- 3?4 years of experience in Data Engineering.- 3 years of experience with Databricks, including services like data pipelines and Unity Catalog.- 3 years of experience in Big Data.- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.- Background in data warehousing, ETL, distributed data processing, software?engineering components, and data?modeling concepts.- Analytical problem?solving skills for large?scale data environments.- Experience working with structured, semi?structured, and unstructured data.- Experience with at least one public cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP).- Strong knowledge of relational and non?relational database design techniques.- Understanding of Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Data Mesh.- Very good English (verbal and written).- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), DevOps, and CI/CD principles.Ideally you’ll also have- Knowledge of data formats: Parquet, Iceberg, Avro.Benefits- Empowering career development with tailored training and development programs.- Flexible work?life integration through a hybrid work model.- Comprehensive well?being programs, including psychological support and health resources.- Meaningful volunteering opportunities within the community.- Recognized performance and rewards with celebration of individual and team achievements.Join us at EY GDS Spain, where your contributions are celebrated and your future is bright.#J-*****-Ljbffr
Requirements
3?4 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- 3 years of experience with Databricks, including services like data pipelines and Unity Catalog.
