Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will build AI-powered software within Asure’s HCM platform, focusing on integrating LLMs and AI services in AWS. You’ll work with a senior team to design, test, and maintain features that enable safe, well-scoped AI actions in payroll and HR workflows. You gain hands-on experience with data pipelines, embeddings, and agent-based AI patterns, while growing your skills in modern AI software practices. This is a growth-focused opportunity to contribute to an enterprise-scale AI platform with human-in-the-loop safeguards. Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver AI-powered features * Write clean, well-tested Python code for services and APIs * Integrate LLMs and AI services into applications and workflows (AWS) * Assist with prompt design, experimentation, and evaluation * Contribute to data pipelines and retrieval components (embeddings, vector search) * Participate in code reviews and improve software quality * Troubleshoot and resolve defects in AI-enabled applications * Work with relational, NoSQL, and vector databases * Support deployment and operation of AI apps in AWS * Participate in Agile development activities * Follow responsible AI practices and continuously learn across Python, AI/LLMs, and cloud tech Tasks * Bachelor’s or Master’s in a technical field * Proficiency in Python * Strong fundamentals in programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design * Foundational understanding of AI, ML, or generative AI concepts * Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering concepts, and APIs * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) * Basic understanding of data management (relational/NoSQL) * Experience using Git or other VCS * Strong problem-solving and communication skills * Ability to learn quickly and collaborate in a team Key requirements * Medical, Dental, Vision * HSA, FSA * Company-paid life and disability insurance * 401K with 3% match * Employee Stock Purchase Program * Fitness Reimbursement Program
