Job description

  • Support security engineering activities, including basis of estimate development, requirements development, design, test, configuration management and maintenance of information systems and data. \n

  • Assist program security in the development of policies and procedures for emerging security technologies. \n

  • Support vulnerability assessment activities as required. \n

Requirements

  • Experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization (A&A) processes and standard body of evidence (BoE) package development. \n

  • Experience with A&A package processing \n

  • Experience in DoD software selection and approval processes for COTS, GOTS and FOSS. \n

  • Experience in the application of DISA SRGs and STIGs. \n

  • Experience in the implementation and use of cybersecurity tools (e.g. ACAS, SCAP, etc.). \n

  • Experience with container security, * Experience in configuration and use of cyber defense and vulnerability assessment tools such as ACAS, Nessus and SCC. \n

  • Ability to work individually or as part of a cybersecurity team. Must be able provide direction based on program and customer requirements and compliance. \n

  • Possess excellent speaking abilities and skills to brief leadership and customers. \n

  • Possess ability to conduct research on security and other applicable topics as needed as the cybersecurity lead., * Must be a self-starter that is able to understand requirements and develop plans and articulate needs to meet compliance and requirements., + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or \n

  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience or \n

  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. \n \n

  • TS/SCI (SCI eligible) security clearance with CI Poly required. \n

  • DOD 8140 IAT-3 or IASAE-2 certification. \n

  • Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment. \n, * Experience in C2S Cloud authorizations, FedRAMP and DISA CSP requirements. \n

  • Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). \n

  • Windows and Linux system administration skills. \n

  • Operating system certification. \n

  • Experience in the content development and administration of SEIM/audit reduction tools (e.g., Splunk). \n

  • DOD 8570.01M IASAE-3 certification is desired. \n

  • Strong understanding of engineering processes, concepts and information security systems engineering principles (NIST SP 800-160 Vol1). \n

  • System test and evaluation methods and RMF assessment methodology & process. \n

  • Experience in Cyber Defense technologies. \n

  • Experience with CI/CD, agile system development, and DevSecOps tools and processes. \n

  • Understanding of system vulnerabilities and exploitation. \n
