Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Solutions Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS cloud computing and will play a crucial role in guiding our DevOps teams on cloud-based architectures. This position requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills., Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant areas.Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment across IT and business partners, deep AWS knowledge and experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.7+ years’ experience in software development and designing and implementing solutions with AWS services including serverless computing and IaC (Terraform).5+ years’ experience as a solutions architect or experience providing cloud architecture guidance and technical direction to developers.Ability to design and implement solutions that meet the AWS Well-Architected framework., Adoption, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Architectural Design, Architectural Services, Best Practices, Cloud Architecture, Cloud Computing, Communication Skills, Computer Science, Computer Services, Computer Skills, Cost Effectiveness Analysis, DevOps, Enterprise Architecture, Financial Planning, ISO (International Organization for Standardization), Needs Assessment, Presentation/Verbal Skills, Prototyping, Reimbursement, Software Design, Software Development, Standards Development, Team Player, Usability Engineering, Writing Skills

How you will make an Impact

As part of a team of architects, design cloud architectures that meet business requirements, technology standards, and align with the four tenets of IT at ISO New England: Efficiency, Reliability, Security and Cost Effectiveness.Collaborate with development teams to evaluate needs and provide architectural guidance in using the right patterns and services for solutions.Facilitate the definition of standards and best practices, create reference architectures, all to promote re-usability.Create and maintain current and future state solution architecture diagrams and communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders.Prototype cloud solutions, write terraform, and contribute to company-wide shared terraform modules when necessary.Stay current with the latest trends for AWS services, tools, and best practices to help define the organization’s roadmap for adoption of new services and technologies.

What we are looking for, The expected salary range for this position is $155,000 - $190,000 per year.
