Job description

We are seeking a senior-level Data Engineer and Django Backend Lead Developer to build, manage, and optimize systems that gather, store, and process large volumes of data for analytics and business applications.

Data Engineering Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across platforms.
  • Optimize data storage solutions and data processing workflows.

Data Engineering Skills

  • Strong experience with Python and SQL.
  • Experience with cloud-based data engineering tools such as AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, and similar technologies., We are seeking an experienced Django Backend Lead Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend application development, cloud technologies, and large-scale data processing. This role includes leading technical projects, mentoring junior developers, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Backend Development Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of backend systems using Django.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure RESTful APIs.
  • Integrate Azure Cloud services for application deployment and management.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers.
  • Optimize database performance and manage data storage solutions.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Participate in system architecture design and technical decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of backend development experience.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with Django.
  • Proven experience working with Azure Cloud services.
  • Demonstrated commitment, proactive mindset, and strong ownership in delivering results.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.
  • Experience with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
