About the company

A provider of digital research and analytics products is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for a hybrid role in Providence, Rhode Island. This position will influence how advanced AI is applied to legal and regulatory intelligence products used by professional customers.

Rather than focusing only on model training, this role will examine the entire analytical system: the source data, retrieval behavior, model reasoning, evaluation criteria, and user outcome. Major initiatives include LLM-powered research experiences, agentic automation, semantic retrieval, and intelligent processing of complex documents.
