Job description

  • Assist in developing and maintaining cloud-agnostic software and automation that operates across AWS, Azure, and on-prem Kubernetes clusters
  • Support cross-functional teams by contributing to integration, documenting workflows, and helping ensure smooth solution delivery.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining internal SDKs, APIs, and microservices that support AI workflows across hybrid environments.
  • Write clean and efficient code with guidance, focusing on readability, maintainability, and continuous improvement
  • Use AI-assisted development tools (OpenCode, Claude Code) and basic RAG frameworks to support coding tasks, documentation, and user-support workflows.
  • Provide user onboarding and operational support for platform services - assisting new users with access, explaining platform capabilities, helping troubleshoot common issues, routing requests, and maintaining user-facing documentation.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years in Python and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • 3+ years experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, etc.).
  • Prior experience maintaining reusable Helm charts, manifests, and deployment templates with guidance from senior engineers., * Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, source control, CI/CD, and testing practices.
  • Basic familiarity with GitOps concepts and tools such as Argo CD.
  • Exposure to AI/ML tools, data platforms, agent frameworks, or API management platforms.
  • Interest in DevOps and AIOps methodologies, containerization, and IaC best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, define technical direction, and drive end-to-end solutions.
  • Demonstrated deep technical curiosity and the initiative to dive into complex challenges.

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
