Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five (5) years’ experience working on and with complex networks knowledge of C4I Hardware to include: computers, network switches, network routers, computer racks and power systems (PDU, UPS, etc.).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance after start.
  • Organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Active Secret Clearance preferred at start.
  • Crypto hardware.
  • Cross Domain Solution (CDS) hardware.

Benefits & conditions

About the company

SAIC is seeking a Senior Network Test and Evaluation Engineer to support the UxS STRATCAP program in San Diego, CA. The UxS STRATCAP program involves deployment of autonomous unmanned surface vessels (USV’s) to demonstrate an enhanced warfighting capability to disrupt adversary activity in a given maritime region. The program seeks to develop an unmanned, remotely operated, and semi-autonomous USVs. The UxS STRATCAP program is managed by the Unmanned Maritime Systems (UMS) Program Office (PMS-406) within PEO Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), and is supported by NIWC Pacific, Code 564 who provides expertise to the program sponsor in the areas of hardware and software design, development, installation, test and evaluation of various unmanned and autonomous systems.

In this role, you will be working with UxS STRATCAP T&E IPT Lead and other staff in the execution of directed Test and Evaluation events, to include Computer Rack hardware tracking and configuration, computer software installation and configuration, Network configuration verification and validation, Test inspections of installed equipment.

Note: Candidate would need to be local to the San Diego area. This is a Hybrid role with majority of time spent onsite throughout the week.
