Senior Software Engineer - Data Platform Clarity AI is a global sustainability?tech company founded in ** that leverages AI and machine learning to provide investors, governments, companies and consumers with the data, methodologies and tools to make more informed decisions.We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in data engineering to help deliver production?ready products while co?designing an architecture that scales with the platform.The role focuses on software engineering tasks, ensuring the scalability, reliability and performance of core processes that generate data for Clarity AI’s Data Platform.The engineer works closely with other Software Engineers, a Tech Lead, a Product Manager and stakeholders, and will help manage the ingestion flow of data from public sources and vendors.You will maintain core data services and infrastructure that empower other Clarity AI teams to innovate quickly.Responsibilities & QualificationsDesign, develop and maintain data pipelines and services with a focus on simplicity, scalability, reliability and performance.Write high?quality, clean, well?tested code; automate unit, integration and other tests as part of continuous development cycles.Master SQL; work with relational databases, data warehousing, columnar storage and in?memory databases.Implement automated data?quality actions and develop fully automated, orchestrated ETL/ELT pipelines (Airflow is the primary tool).Apply main design patterns, create decoupled artifacts and work with APIs.Own the product lifecycle: understand problems and needs, interact with stakeholders, design, code, deliver, measure impact, and take full ownership of your work.Demonstrate a strong team mindset, valuing collaboration, open communication and collective success.Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.Work autonomously with minimal supervision, balancing synchronous and asynchronous communication within the team.Proactive, critical thinking, open to change and improvement; propose new ways of working and give constructive feedback.Nice to HaveExperience in a startup.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, sustainable finance, banking or a related discipline.What We OfferCompetitive compensation, base salary and equity plans.Flexibility in work schedule and location (remote or hybrid).Generous paid time off, including vacation, sabbatical, religious observance and compensation days.Private healthcare coverage, fitness and wellness programs via Wellhub.Home?office allowance and ongoing professional development budget.Collaborative environment with multiple global offices, regular team activities and events.LocationSpain - Remote / HybridSeniority LevelMid?Senior levelEmployment TypeFull?timeJob FunctionConsulting#J-***-Ljbffr
