Cloud Security Architect

The Cloud Security Architect (m/f/d) is responsible for designing the overall cloud security strategy, defining policies, and ensuring that cloud environments are resilient to evolving threats.They work with development and engineering teams, IT Teams and compliance teams to create a secure cloud architecture.The working location for this position will be in Madrid city where we are setting up a new office.We operate a hybrid model, requiring at least 40% of the working time on-site.Please note that response times to your application may be longer than usual from 30 July to 14 August, as many of our employees will be out of the office during this period.Thank you for your understanding.Creating passion: your responsibilities Design secure Multi-Cloud and Hybrid Environments that align with business needs and industry best practices Define and Maintain a Secure Multi-Cloud Architecture Framework Support Cloud First Approach and Conduct Security Assessment in Cloud Environments/Projects Select and Oversee the implementation of cloud security tools (e.G. CSPM, CASB) Provide technical leadership by guiding teams on secure cloud adoption and risk mitigation strategies Conduct cloud security assessments and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements Adopt and promote a security-by-design approach with the different stakeholders Work with engineering and DevOps teams to integrate security controls into cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines Actively contribute to the Coporate Information Security architecture community, sharing insights and best practices Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulations Contributing your strengths: your qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field 3+ years in cybersecurity, preferably as Cloud Security Architect Following certificates are preferred; CISSP, SABSA, as well as Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) English is a Must, German and French are a plus Deep understanding of cloud security concepts and principles (e.G. shared responsibility model) Expertise in cloud security frameworks and architectures (e.G. NIST, CSA, CIS Benchmarks) Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (e.G. AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security services Experience with cloud security controls and governance (e.G.
