Senior Devops Engineer - DV in Gloucester

We’re looking for engineers who are passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and building resilient, secure platforms., * Commercial experience building, deploying, and supporting secure production systems. \n

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure. \n

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices. \n

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation. \n

• Knowledge of containers, orchestration, and cloud- architectures. \n

• Experience working across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). \n

• Comfortable working in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban. \n

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. \n

The Role\n

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll work within small, high-performing agile teams, enabling the successful delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient applications.

You’ll play a key role in improving engineering efficiency by automating infrastructure, streamlining deployments, and building robust cloud platforms that support the full software development lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing\n \n

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment platforms. \n

• Develop and manage automated CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery. \n

• Build and operate shared platform services for deployment, monitoring, observability, and operational support. \n

• Create and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. \n

• Deploy, manage, and optimise solutions across AWS, Azure, and private cloud environments. \n

• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and delivery teams to improve automation, security, and platform reliability. \n

• Monitor system health, performance, and availability while proactively identifying opportunities for optimisation. \n

• Contribute to DevOps best practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and engineering standards. \n, Industry certifications across cloud platforms, Kubernetes, or DevOps tooling are also welcomed but are not essential.
