Job description

  • The Test team within the Digital Infrastructure Network Integration Lab (DI-NIL) will be responsible for maintaining the DI-NIL architecture and services. There are levels of support needed throughout to include RHEL, Windows, and other systems and appliances to include structure and compliance configurations, integration with Active Directory for authentication, as well as day-to-day management and review of the architecture. \n

  • All systems destined for operation on the production network will pass through the DI-NIL for V&V testing from the build through configuration to service delivery. This position will work with the team to ensure code needed for provisioning and rapid deployment of the SIL space and needed connected systems to ensure all systems meet the strict compliance required by DoD guidance as well as ensuring all system capabilities are configured for optimum performance for the underlying operating system by coding automated test and validation scripts. \n

  • Full documentation of code utilized within the environment will be mandatory as well as process flow documentation to ensure all required tasks are documented and repeatable. \n

  • The DI-NIL support effort will also include working with customers to ensure the needed environment is configured properly and access has been configured to allow a least privilege concept during stakeholder activities within the environment. This position will field any deep dive discussions related to code development and availability. \n

  • Additional duties will include backing up other personnel in support of the DI-NIL effort which is focused on Verification and Validation for the Digital Infrastructure Network. \n

Requirements

  • US with at least a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. \n

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or master’s degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. \n

  • Demonstrable knowledge of coding concepts and applying these concepts to Department of Defense programs. \n

  • Demonstrable experience in design review participation and providing customer centric input. \n

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems. \n

  • Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities. \n

  • Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience. \n

  • Basic network understanding and ability to adjust code to operate across the enterprise. \n

  • Mid-level understanding of government systems security testing (ACAS/Nessus) and remediation - ability to discuss security issues and concerns. \n

  • Demonstrated ability to brief technical and non-technical customers. \n

  • Ability to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction and maintain Leidos positive brand recognition. \n, * US with an active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to maintain that clearance during your employment with Leidos. \n

  • Prior experience working on ABMS or JADC2 initiatives. \n

  • 4 years of DoD-based system security testing (ACAS/Nessus) and remediation with the ability to discuss security issues and concerns. \n

  • Prior experience designing and deploying networks. \n

  • Prior experience with SAFe Agile implementation. \n

  • Demonstrated experience with Agile program execution and using agile tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence). \n

  • Prior experience support Department of the Air Force programs. \n

  • Previous experience working on complex multi-domain systems. \n

  • Experience with design and validation of Cloud and Edge Computing and Network. \n

  • Demonstrable knowledge of test automation and test result analysis. \n

  • Demonstrable experience in network topologies to validate functionality, performance, stability and scalability of features and products. \n

  • Proven expertise in creating test methodologies and writing test specifications. \n

  • Experience in Integration, test, verification, and validation.
