Requirements

Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense ­­Secret clearance as a condition and continuation of employment., · 3+ years of experience providing end-to-end hardware and software support for desktop systems, servers, applications, networks, and infrastructure in DoD or secure environments. · Strong experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems, including installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting. · Experience supporting Linux/Unix environments, application/development/production servers, High Performance Computing (HPC) systems, and virtualization technologies (VMware/ESX preferred). · Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), networking fundamentals, asset management, configuration/change/release management, and problem resolution. · Experience providing technical support in Closed Areas, including workstation, laptop, peripheral, and dedicated network infrastructure support. · Perform Install, Move, Add, Change, and Dispose (IMACD) activities, software deployments, system upgrades, and hardware lifecycle management. · Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, system, and network issues while managing escalations through resolution. · Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, work across technical teams, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment. · Experience with Microsoft Office products and technical documentation development/editing. · Preferred experience with SQL, Exchange, Web servers, WSUS, SAN technologies, NetBackup, and HP hardware.
