Senior Sap Bw/4Hana

We’re looking for a Senior SAP BW/4HANA specialist to join our team in Madrid, Spain in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will play a key part in redesigning the finance system landscape for a leading global wealth management organization, helping to build a robust and efficient data and reporting infrastructure. You will co-create and further develop the Management Information System (MIS) and Financial Data Store (FDS) in close collaboration with international stakeholders from CFO units. This position combines deep technical expertise in SAP BW/4HANA with strong business acumen, enabling you to shape the analytical backbone that supports a next-generation Finance function at our client.ResponsibilitiesLead and contribute to the redesign of Julius Baer’s finance landscape using SAP BW/4HANAApply deep understanding of requirements across multiple workstreams and translate them into actionable work packagesDrive the implementation of development packages and contribute to hands-on development when neededAnalyze and optimize existing data and reporting flows to improve efficiency and data qualityEnsure adherence to development best practices, including documentation and testing throughout the lifecycleCollaborate with CFO teams and technical experts to define high-performance, future-ready financial processesRequirementsMaster’s degree in economics, business administration, banking, finance, informatics, data science, or related field4+ years of demonstrated experience in SAP BW/4HANA solution design and implementationProficiency in modeling BW/4HANA objects such as ADSOs, transformations, and composite providersExperience developing ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDPs) and Core Data Services (CDS) viewsKnowledge in creating SAP HANA calculation views (including SQL-based logic)Ability to manage the end-to-end development lifecycle, including unit testing, integration, and documentationSolid understanding of Finance Data Models in the banking sectorExcellent communication and presentation abilities with a confident, collaborative approachStrong problem?solving skills and ability to work independently in a highly dynamic environmentNice to haveExperience in wealth management/banking industryFamiliarity with SAP FSDM (Financial Services Data Model)Exposure to SAP PaPM (Profitability and Performance Management)#J-*****-Ljbffr
