Job description

Getnet Platforms is part of Santander Payment Solutions and brings together a set of key platforms within Santander’s global payments technology ecosystem. It includes software-as-a-service capabilities across the entire payments value chain, such as account-to-account processing, FX, SWIFT connectivity, fraud management and card processing infrastructure.

It enables financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) and payment service providers (PSPs) to operate, scale and evolve their payment capabilities across multiple rails, markets and regulatory environments, without the need to rebuild their core systems.

Proven at scale, including within Santander itself, these platforms provide a modular foundation that complements Getnet’s global payment capabilities to support client growth through payments., * Technical expertise: Demonstrate a solid understanding of AWS services (EC2, EKS, VPC, etc.) and common platform services (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Apigee, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.). Stay current with the latest platform technologies and trends.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, DevOps, Security, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment.
  • Requirements gathering and definition: Elicit requirements from stakeholders, define user stories, and create acceptance criteria.
  • Stakeholder management: Communicate platform plans, progress, and changes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making: Analyze complex technical problems, identify solutions, and make informed decisions that balance business needs, technical feasibility, and customer impact.
  • Product orientation: Our Platform is a Product that must be protected from customizations and project-specific requirements

Requirements

As a Platform Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the platform roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, DevOps, and CISO. You will need to have a solid technical understanding of AWS services (EC2, EKS, VPC, etc.) and common platform services (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Apigee, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.). Your proactive and open-minded approach will enable you to stay up-to-date with the latest platform technologies and trends., * English is the common language of the team

  • Technical background: 3+ years of experience in a technical role, such as software engineering, DevOps, or technical product management.
  • Platform expertise: Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS, VPC, etc.), common platform services (NginX, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Apigee, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.) and CI/CD and automation tooling (Terraform, GitHub actions, ArgoCD, etc.).
  • Product management experience: 2+ years of experience in product management or a related field, with a focus on platform or infrastructure products.
  • Communication and collaboration: Excellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and identify creative solutions.
  • Adaptability and continuous learning: Willingness to learn new technologies, adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity., * AWS certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Cloud-native architecture: Knowledge of cloud-native architecture patterns, such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing.
