helping improve and save lives daily.As a Software Architect, you will help shape the future of our Saa S platform as we evolve from a serverless, AWS-oriented approach toward a more container-based, cloud-native architecture.You will work across a mixed technology landscape, helping steer the platform in a.NET-preferred direction while understanding and supporting existing Python-based services.This is a key role for someone who enjoys combining technical vision, pragmatic decision-making, and cross-team leadership to build scalable, secure, and maintainable software.What You Will Do Define and evolve the architectural vision for scalable, secure, and maintainable Saa S solutions aligned with business goals.Lead architecture decisions across services, APIs, integrations, and platform capabilities.Guide the move toward container-based architectures and modern cloud-native engineering practices.Work closely with engineering teams to improve software design, code quality, testing, deployment, and production readiness.Collaborate with Dev Ops and platform teams to align solutions with company standards, templates, and deployment practices around Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, and monorepo workflows.Shape multi-tenant Saa S capabilities, including tenant-aware services, security boundaries, and platform scalability.Partner with product management, stakeholders, and technical leaders to shape and defend the technical roadmap.Mentor engineers and help foster strong architectural and engineering practices across teams.Represent your team in the broader architecture community and contribute to alignment across departments.What is a must?Proven experience in a Software Architect or similar senior technical leadership role.Strong experience designing distributed systems and cloud-native applications in container-based environments.Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and modern deployment practices for containerized workloads.Strong experience with.NET / C#, and the ability to guide architecture in a mixed-technology environment.Strong understanding of software architecture principles, OOP, SOLID, design patterns, and maintainable system design.Experience designing Saa S and multi-tenant solutions.Strong knowledge of API design, HTTP, REST, and service integration patterns.Solid understanding of application and API security best practices.Experience working with relational and No SQL databases.Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain and defend technical decisions across technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to lead through influence, mentor engineers, and create alignment across teams.What is nice to have?Experience with Python in production systems.Familiarity with Helm, Argo CD, and monorepo-based development models.Experience with at least one major cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.Knowledge of OIDC, OAuth2, JWT, and modern identity patterns.Familiarity with Linux and scripting in Bash or Power Shell.What’s Waiting For You Work that matters The technology we build at Materialise pushes the boundaries.You’ll find pride in building something that matters, whether you designed it, printed it, or shipped it.No matter your role, we unlock new possibilities to build a better and healthier world every day.At Materialise, we expect you to think about the customer, not just the task.You push for better solutions and care about the difference your work makes.A people-centered space When you join Materialise, you join a group of colleagues invested in you, not just your work.From your own team to a department across the world, you’ll find a sense of belonging with people who help without being asked, challenge you, and have your back.At the same time, we expect you to invest in the people around you -
