Analyst Commerce Automation

We are looking for an experienced SAP Ariba Commerce Automation Analyst to support and optimize

purchasing processes within an SAP environment.

This is a long-term full-time assignment with an expected start date in January 2027.

This role combines business analysis, solution design, SAP configuration, testing, implementation, support, and

stakeholder management. The position is not purely IT-focused, as it involves close collaboration with the

business and continuous process improvement.

Functie

Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Analyse and document business requirements and change requests.

• Translate business needs into SAP MM and SAP Ariba solutions in line with standards

and architecture.

• Propose functional and technical improvements.

SAP Configuration & Delivery

• Perform customizing and configuration in SAP MM / IM.

• Configure templates in Ariba Sourcing.

• Configure Business Rules for Ariba Commerce Automation.

• Prepare functional specifications for developers.

• Follow up developments and ensure the quality of delivered solutions.

Testing & Implementation

• Execute and coordinate:

o Unit testing

o Integration testing

o User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

o Regression testing

• Support deployment and go-live activities.

Support & Maintenance (RUN)

• Manage tickets in Solution Manager, bug fixes, and small enhancements.

• Provide day-to-day support for SAP logistics processes within the purchasing domain.

• Monitor interfaces and batch jobs.

Stakeholder Management

• Organise and facilitate workshops with business users.

• Act as the interface between business and IT teams (development, basis, reporting).

• Train key users and end users.

Additional Focus

• Work mainly with SAP Supply Chain modules, particularly SAP MM, Ariba Commerce

Automation and Ariba Sourcing.

• Contribute to process improvements, the digital roadmap, new projects, change

initiatives, and the continuous support of the existing SAP landscape.

• Minimum 10 years of expert knowledge of SAP MM.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP Ariba Commerce Automation.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP Ariba Sourcing.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP EDI.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the public sector.

• Dutch or French (C1 level).

• English (minimum B2 level).
