Job description
You’ll own our Salesforce platform end to end. You develop it, you document it, you test it, and you deploy it. Then you support it and keep it healthy. There’s no separate team to hand work over to, so you see every change through from the first conversation to live. This is a hands-on role. You’ll write Apex and Lightning Web Components, build integrations, run data loads, fix incidents, and talk directly with the business to turn their needs into working solutions. You’ll be our go-to person for Salesforce in Europe. Main responsibilities Support and incident management

- Give ongoing support to end users across the business.
Solution design and development

- Write and maintain Apex classes, Apex jobs, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components.
- Include proper unit testing and test class coverage in all development work.

- Build solutions in an optimised way. Head off storage and performance problems before they happen.
Integrations
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and our other business applications.
Sales productivity tools
- Support and improve Salesforce Maps and Einstein Activity Capture.
Data management
- Run data loads, imports, and exports.
- Keep recurring data operations accurate and efficient.
Testing and deployment
- Test your own work properly before it goes anywhere near production.
- Manage deployments from sandbox to production, including release planning.
- Follow change management. Get approval, plan the rollback, and tell users what’s changing.
- Check the change worked after go-live and fix anything that slipped through.

- Work closely with different departments and stakeholders.
- Keep clear technical documentation: business process docs, functional specs, and technical specs.
Innovation
- Keep up with new Salesforce features and releases.
- Explore AI-related integrations within Salesforce.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent by experience.
- 3 to 5 years working hands-on with Salesforce, including real Apex and LWC development.
- Salesforce Administrator certification is required. Salesforce Platform Developer I preferred. Salesforce Platform Developer II is a plus.
- ITIL Foundation is a plus, since you’ll work with our incident and change processes.

- Proven ability to write, debug, and optimize Apex classes, triggers, and scheduled jobs, with a solid understanding of Salesforce governor limits.
- Experience building Lightning Web Components (LWC) from scratch; knowledge of Aura Components is an advantage.
- Strong commitment to unit testing, including writing comprehensive test classes and maintaining high test coverage as a standard practice.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external business systems using REST, SOAP, and other APIs.
- Proficiency in data migration and management using Data Loader or similar tools, ensuring accurate and repeatable bulk import/export processes.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud configuration and administration.
