Data Scientist - Internal AI

You’ll shape the future of AI in finance at CM.com. As our Data Scientist for the Internal AI team, you’ll embed intelligence into our financial workflows, apply ESSA principles (Eliminate, Standardize, Simplify, Automate), and pioneer Conversational Finance, elevating how our customers, suppliers, and internal teams interact with financial data.

You will:

• Investigate and analyze financial processes to build deep business understanding, then prioritize high-impact automation opportunities with key stakeholders.
• Build and deploy machine learning models that integrate with Claude Cowork, N8N, and HALO to transform end-to-end financial workflows.
• Work directly with our CFO, Head of Business Finance, and Internal AI Lead (Rogier) to shape solution strategies and deliver production-ready solutions.
• Own the full cycle from model development through production deployment, ensuring solutions drive real efficiency gains across finance and beyond.

By welcoming AI Agents into our organisation, we fundamentally change how work is done. You are comfortable with change and you love working in a high paced environment., * 3+ years in a Data Science or ML Engineer role, with proven experience deploying models to production.

• Strong Python (pandas, scikit-learn) and SQL skills, with experience building agentic workflows across multiple platforms.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to simplify complexity and prioritize ruthlessly in a fast-moving environment.
• Genuinely curious about AI. You experiment with tools like ChatGPT or Copilot and you’re open to working differently as they improve.
