As a Software Designer C#/C++/JAVA, you develop software for high-tech products and machines.

In this role, you support our customers in the semiconductor, analytical instrumentation, and medical equipment industries, within the triangle of Nijmegen, Enschede, and Zwolle, by delivering smart, sustainable, and reliable software solutions. Your software expertise plays an essential role in bringing these high-tech solutions to life.

  • Applying your creative skills during the concept phase of projects, translating requirements into innovative, clear, and realistic concepts.
  • Acting as a bridge between architects and engineers from a technical perspective.
  • Taking responsibility for a module/subsystem throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • You have a technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • You have 7+ years of experience in technical software development, gained in various roles and across diverse product environments and/or projects.
  • Over the past 4-5 years, you have worked within technical domains such as Semicon, Medical, or Analytical.
  • You have experience with at least two of the following programming languages: C#, C++, or Java.
  • You have knowledge of and/or experience with various development methodologies and techniques such as Design Patterns, UML, and Agile, and you keep your technical expertise up to date. You are looking for an environment where you can apply these developments in practice as well.
  • Based on your experience, you are able to coach junior engineers.
  • You are a team player and keep the common goal in mind.
  • You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
  • You hold a valid European driver’s license and are willing to travel.
