What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and implement automated controls, reconciliations and exception reporting.
  • Improve the quality, accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
  • Build insightful dashboards, visualisations and KPI reporting that support business decision-making.
  • Streamline month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting activities.
  • Extract, transform and analyse data from multiple sources using Microsoft Fabric, SQL and other modern analytics tools.
  • Partner with Technology and Finance teams to deliver transformation projects from requirements gathering through to implementation.
  • Translate business needs into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and insight to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Champion data-driven thinking across Finance and help colleagues maximise the value of reporting and analytics tools.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for finance analytics, reporting and finance systems.

Requirements

  • Degree educated in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within a Finance or Financial Reporting environment.
  • Hands-on experience with: Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, Python
  • Proven experience automating reporting and business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
