Job description

Requirements of the Data Center Installer

  • Installers will work on a large-scale fiber project involving patches and bundled fiber.
  • The general duties include patching from patch panel to patch panel, patch panel to device, and device to device.
  • Must be willing and able to climb ladders

Responsibilities of the Data Center Installer

  • Install and configure network cabling including Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optic cables following schematics and technical specifications
  • Use hand tools and power tools to assemble racks, mount hardware, and secure cabling within data center environment.
  • Collaborate with field service teams to perform equipment repairs, upgrades, and routine maintenance in data centers
